Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
Known as “a garden for all seasons,” weddings bloom year-round at this 300-acre venue in Belmont. And there’s good reason why – it’s not only one of the most beautiful spots in all of North Carolina, but it offers both indoor and outdoor spaces. Nuptials large and small can occur in various garden spots, such as the White Garden, Crape Myrtle Grove, the Wren Room or the Orchid Conservatory.

Camelot Meadows
A lovely wooded backdrop with the simplicity of nature that compliments any style. The beautiful event barn, bamboo forest, horses, goats, and waterfront location offer a unique event experience. From the magical experience of getting married outdoors in a bamboo forest to the comforts of 100% climate controlled 7560 square foot barn, this is a perfect place to plan your wedding in Belmont.

Majestic mill weddings
This unique 5,000+ square foot venue is located inside Catawba River Antique Mall. The space echoes the rustic, industrial charm of the 100+-year-old former Majestic Mill. With many of its original features displayed – maple hardwood floors and hard pine columns – it’s a historic setting, with a cozy outdoor patio space as well, ready for creative and vintage-inspired nuptials.

Belmont Parks
From Kevin Loftin Riverfront Park along the Catawba River to Stowe Park in the city’s historic center, Belmont has several parks across the area for nuptials of various sizes. Small and large rental shelters are available as well as amenities and scenic views.

The Bison Room
The Bison Room is the ideal Downtown Belmont venue for showers, receptions & private parties of any kind. There is a standing capacity for 250 people or a seated capacity of 175 people. The Bearded Buffalo also offers catering for any event held in The Bison Room. They provide Platters, Sandwiches, Hor d’oeuvres, Buffet Style Dining & Desserts

Jekyll & Hyde Taphouse
Jekyll & Hyde Taphouse offers 3 event venues: The Loft, The Beer Garden, and The Fire Table. The Loft is ideal for a private event of up to 80 people, while The Beer Garden can host up to 100 people. The Fire Table is for much more intimate events up to 25 people.

The Lodge Tavern & Tap
The Lodge Tavern & Tap has the Kenwood Wine & Whiskey Room that is great for a rehearsal dinner or small wedding reception. The private room even has its own bar & dining areas making it perfect for your next get-together.

Old Stone Steakhouse
The Old Stone Steakhouse covered patio is able to accommodate groups of up to 50 people, making it the perfect place to celebrate your rehearsal dinner, party, or small reception. Their three fireplaces provide a casual, cozy environment that can be enjoyed throughout the year. You can even work with their head chef to design a customized menu that will be sure to please.

Nellie’s Southern Kitchen
Nellie’s Southern Kitchen has a small event venue that is perfect for a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, or even a small reception. Their inspiration comes from Nellie Jonas, Kevin Sr.’s grandmother, who lived in Belmont until she passed in 2011. Nellie’s family remembers her as an incredible cook and a gracious hostess who focused on simple, fresh ingredients and on making people feel at home.

Belmont Abbey College
Are you a Belmont Abbey graduate or part of the Belmont Abbey College community? Weddings are normally celebrated in a parish church. Since the Basilica is not a parish, weddings in the Abbey Basilica are governed by the policy of the Diocese of Charlotte. You may request your wedding at Belmont Abbey College.
